The streets often reflect the character and soul of a city. While they may sometimes appear monotonous, they are much like people, each possessing its unique personality, scent, layout, and beauty. The more beautiful a city’s streets are, the broader its appeal becomes. Both Stockholm and Sarajevo showcase their distinctive street styles. Although I am well-acquainted with the streets of Sarajevo, I am becoming more familiar with those of Stockholm. I also appreciate the streets of Windsor and Toronto in Ontario, Canada, as well as Montreal and Quebec City. As I build this site, I will strive to cover as many cities and their unique streets as possible.

If you are visiting Stockholm, a great place to see is Monteliusvagen, which offers excellent views of Gamla Stan and Kungsholmen.

Another great spot is the short street Fjällgatan on the east side of Södermalm island. There is a wonderful view of Gamla Stan from the east side, as well as Djurgården and Gröna Lund.

On the same street, there is a wonderful vegetarian restaurant that features a lovely garden and offers great views of Gamla Stan. The food is delicious, but I’m not promoting it commercially. If you’re in the area, you’ll find it easily.

A few more images captured on a lovely Sunday morning in July on the streets of Södermalm, Stockholm.
