Today is August 4, 2025, which is the 32nd week in the Swedish calendar. I plan to post all of my updates on Mondays, as it’s the start of the week. Additionally, I am embarking on a new venture: showcasing my amateur photographic work in a fresh format.
Having spent nearly 25 years in North America, I will adopt the approach I learned in Canada. I plan to begin running this page without a detailed plan, guided only by a vision. I will adjust my plans along the way, much like Americans and Canadians do when starting new projects. I appreciate that flexible spirit, as it ultimately saves time compared to those who meticulously plan every detail of their projects.
I’m not particularly fond of social media, and that’s one of the main reasons for starting this website. Alongside some of my writings and essays, the primary focus here will be on photographs in various forms. You won’t find political topics or comments on the current social or international issues. This website serves as my escape from the overwhelming information presented by the media, news, and social networks.
At sixty, I have come to appreciate the peace and tranquility that comes when I am not burdened by daily events and the stress they create. Spending time in nature—whether in the forest or by the sea or lake—brings me immense joy, regardless of the season. I will share some of these images with you because the world we live in is wonderful, and often we lack the perspective to see it.
I wish you a pleasant day, and I hope that our interactions here are natural, free of obligations or expectations. If we can support each other in this way, we are on the right path toward truly recognizing our human souls and their worth.
